The Audio-Technica AT-VM95E/H combo kit pairs the AT-VM95E dual moving magnet cartridge with the AT-HS6 headshell, pre-mounted and wired for a hassle-free installation. Part of Audio-Technica's acclaimed VM95 Series, the AT-VM95E features a 0.3 x 0.7 mil bonded elliptical stylus on an aluminum cantilever, delivering detailed, accurate tracking for the price. Specially wound coils boost output voltage, while a durable, low-resonance polymer cartridge body keeps unwanted vibration and coloration to a minimum.
This is an entry-level cartridge well suited to newcomers building their first serious turntable setup, or as a reliable upgrade/replacement for an existing headshell-mount arm. Threaded inserts on the AT-HS6 headshell allow mounting with just two screws, and the cartridge is fully compatible with any AT-VMN95 series replacement stylus, so the same headshell combo can later be upgraded to a higher-performance stylus without buying a new cartridge body.
Ideal for use with universal 1/2" mount tonearms.
