The Audio-Technica VM510CB is the entry point into the VM500/600/700 Series, built on the same dual moving magnet platform as Audio-Technica's higher series cartridges but fitted with a bonded conical stylus for straightforward, dependable everyday listening.
The cartridge uses an aluminum cantilever and a low-resonance polymer body with a center shield plate to reduce crosstalk between channels, along with a paratoroidal coil design for improved efficiency. Threaded inserts allow simple two-screw mounting to any standard 1/2" headshell.
Ideal for turntables using a standard 1/2" mount tonearm, and a solid step-up option for listeners upgrading from a stock factory-fitted cartridge.
