The Rega Planar 10 Apheta 3 MC is Rega's flagship production turntable with the Apheta 3 moving coil cartridge factory-fitted. The Apheta 3 has a fine line nude diamond stylus, an iron micro-cross assembly, an ultra-high-powered custom neodymium magnet and a CNC-machined one-piece aluminium body for outstanding resolution and imaging.
The Planar 10 uses an ultra-lightweight Tancast 8 foam-core plinth with Rega's Double Brace technology, here with a ceramic top brace, linking the main bearing and tonearm mounting for maximum rigidity and minimum mass. A ceramic oxide, diamond-cut platter driven by a 24V low-noise motor and Reference EBLT drive belt gives exceptional speed stability, and the hand-assembled RB3000 tonearm is Rega's finest production arm.
The custom-matched Planar 10 reference power supply is included, providing electronic switching between 33-1/3 and 45 RPM with precise speed control. The Planar 10 has no built-in phono stage, so connect it to an amplifier or phono stage with an MC input. Bought at Blacknote, the Planar 10 Apheta 3 MC comes with Rega's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
