The Audio-Technica AT-LP7X (Black) is a fully manual belt-drive turntable engineered as a reference-class deck for the dedicated listener. A vibration-decoupled DC motor, monitored by an optical sensor for consistent speed, drives a substantial 20 mm high-density acrylic platter that resists resonance for exceptionally clean, detailed playback.
It plays 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and comes fitted with an AT-VM95E (Black) dual moving magnet cartridge pre-mounted on a removable AT-LT10 headshell, upgradeable to any VM95 Series stylus and onward to a moving-coil path such as the AT-OC9XSL. The built-in switchable phono/line pre-amplifier supports both MM (36 dB) and MC (56 dB) cartridges with RIAA equalization, letting you pair the deck with powered speakers, an amplifier or a receiver.
The precision J-shaped tonearm, supplied with a 16 g subcounterweight and tonearm clip, tracks with reference-level accuracy. Bought at Blacknote, the AT-LP7X ships with a free AT-VM95E cartridge and Audio-Technica India's official warranty.
