The Rega Planar 10 is Rega's flagship production turntable, combining an ultra-lightweight plinth, ceramic platter, the RB3000 tonearm and a dedicated reference power supply. This package is supplied without a cartridge, so you can choose and set up the cartridge that best suits your system.
The Planar 10 uses an ultra-lightweight Tancast 8 foam-core plinth with Rega's Double Brace technology, here with a ceramic top brace, linking the main bearing and tonearm mounting for maximum rigidity and minimum mass. A ceramic oxide, diamond-cut platter driven by a 24V low-noise motor and Reference EBLT drive belt gives exceptional speed stability, and the hand-assembled RB3000 tonearm is Rega's finest production arm.
The custom-matched Planar 10 reference power supply is included, providing electronic switching between 33-1/3 and 45 RPM with precise speed control. The Planar 10 has no built-in phono stage, so connect it to an amplifier or phono stage with a suitable input. Bought at Blacknote, the Planar 10 comes with Rega's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
