Setup in Under 5 Minutes
Here’s the entire setup, start to finish:
- Unbox the turntable. Place it on a flat, stable surface. Remove the tonearm clip and any packing material. Put the platter on the spindle and loop the belt around it.
- Flip the switch on the back of the LP60X to LINE. This activates the built-in preamp.
- Run the included RCA cable from the turntable’s output to the DM-40D’s RCA input on the back of the left (primary) speaker.
- Connect the speaker-to-speaker cable between the left and right monitors.
- Plug both units into power. Turn on the speakers, set the volume to about 40%.
- Place a record, press Start. The tonearm lifts, moves, drops — music.
